"As little children"

The other day Treygan woke up with a pretty nasty rash covering his torso, probably from the bubble bath I un-wisely let him use the day before (my kids all have VERY sensitive skin). So, like any good mom would do, I gave him Benadryl and sent him off to school (after calling the office and asking if it was fine). When he got home, more Benadryl of course. By that evening, the poor little guy was itching like crazy and the rash started spreading to his face. It didn't look like any kind of virus, just a plain ol' too much bubble bath rash, but I decided to call Nurse Mom (mine) anyway and we decided if it didn't go away soon we might need a trip to the doctor. The next morning, he came running out of his room to tell me, "the rash is all gone! I prayed to Heavenly Father!" Treygan is the perfect example of why Christ instructs us to become as little little children*; full of faith, he prayed a simple prayer asking Heavenly Father to take away his rash and I have no doubt he knew his prayer would be answered.

* Matthew 18:3-4: "...Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. " "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

* 3 Nephi 11:38 in The Book of Mormon: "...ye must repent and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child. or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God."

That is so sweet. Kids have such innocence and such great faith! It's like there's no question in their minds that the prayer will be answered. I'll bet you'll be glad you recorded this later on. Treygan's such a cute kid.
